Nationwide Online EMT Course
Location: Everywhere and Anywhere in the US!
Our Nationwide Online EMT-B program is self-paced and open enrollment. The only restriction for this program is that the student must complete all portions of the program within SIX months from the enrollment date.
Upon completing and passing our online EMT course, you will be eligible to sit for the NREMT exam. Most states require you to pass the NREMT exam to qualify for the state EMS license via reciprocity. Our nationwide emt program meets the requirements for the national education guideline. Check the requirements with your state EMS bureau; click here for a list of states EMS bureaus.
The Didactic Portion: This is an online lecture, case scenario presentation, and discussion at your own pace, totaling 140 hours. The average completion time for the Online portion of the program is about 10-12 weeks, and it is self-paced so that it will depend on the number of time students put toward it.
Psychomotor Portion: After completing the didactic portion of the course. Next is the hands-on portion of the EMT-Basic course. The Psychomotor portion of the program consists of three (3) days, BLS/CPR courses, medical/trauma skills practices, and tests performed in Houston totaling 24 hours of Psychomotor skills sessions. Several schedules are available.
Clinical Internship: The clinical internship is one of the program’s most unique and exciting portions. During the 48 hours internship, you will actively participate in the emergency care of a sick patient by riding in an ambulance. All clinical internships must be completed at an approved Texas EMS agency site.
Requirements to start in our EMT Course
- Government-issued ID
- 18 years or older
- High School Diploma, GED, or official transcript. Foreign Education Equivalency Evaluation must be completed for US High School equivalency.
