Register Now for our 1st of August 2025 Start!
Our Online EMT-B Program is self-paced and open enrollment. The only requirement is that students must complete all portions of the program within 180 days from the last day of the month in which they registered.
Upon completing and passing our online EMT course, you will be eligible to sit for the NREMT exam. Most states require you to pass the NREMT exam to qualify for the state EMS license via reciprocity. Our online EMT program meets the requirements for the national education guidelines. Check the requirements with your state EMS bureau; click here for a list of state EMS bureaus.
The Didactic Portion: This includes an online lecture, case scenario presentation, and discussion, all available at your own pace, totaling 140 hours.
Psychomotor Portion:
After completing the didactic portion of the EMT-Basic course, students will move on to the hands-on component. This psychomotor portion consists of two days of in-person medical and trauma skills practice and testing, conducted at one of our training centers in Katy, TX. Multiple schedule options are available to accommodate student needs.
Clinical Internship:
The clinical internship is one of the most exciting and immersive parts of the program. It includes 48 hours of ambulance ride-along and 8 hours of Emergency Department/Urgent Care rotation, where you will actively participate in the emergency care of real patients.
All clinical internships must be completed at a Texas-approved EMS agency site. Roxell EMT will assign your clinical placements through our network of approved EMS partners.
