This course is divided into three components:
The Didactic Portion: This is a classroom-based lecture, case scenario presentation, and discussion during the regularly scheduled class session.
Psychomotor Portion: This is the hands-on portion of the EMT-Basic course. The skills practices and tests are performed at Roxell EMT locations. The schedule varies by course format.
Clinical Internship: The clinical internship is one of the program’s most unique and exciting portions, where you participate in emergency care for a sick patient. You will complete 48-hour ambulance rides and 8 hours of Ed rotation.
