Basic Life Support (BLS) Training & Certification Medical Center

Roxell EMT provides the American Heart Association’s BLS courses in the Medical Center.

Roxell EMT is an accredited American Heart Association Training Site, and we work closely with the AHA to make sure that our courses meet all their requirements. We will certify you and give you your American Heart Certification Healthcare provider BLS CPR card on the same day as the class.

The BLS Healthcare Provider Course is designed from the 2015 AHA Guidelines for CPR and ECC and a new teaching methodology to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. The course is intended for certified or noncertified, licensed or nonlicensed healthcare professionals.

Healthcare providers, such as physicians, nurses, paramedics, emergency medical technicians, respiratory therapists, physical and occupational therapists, physician’s assistants, residents or fellows, medical or nursing students in training, aides, medical or nursing assistants, police officers, and other allied health personnel.
