Our 15-week AEMT Program is designed to prepare for an EMT-B National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians Advanced Exam. Register for this course to take your EMT career to the next level. 

The Advanced Emergency Medical Technician provides primary and limited advanced medical care and transportation for critical and emergent patients accessing the emergency medical system. Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians perform interventions with the basic and advanced equipment typically found in an ambulance. 

This program has been approved by the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) and meets the Texas AEMT licensure requirements.

Roxell EMT AEMT consists of three components – Didactic portion, hands-on skills sessions, and clinical/field experiences.

The requirement to start our AEMT Houston Program

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Hold an active EMT-Basic license (NREMT or Texas License)
• Be a high school graduate or have a GED or its equivalent.
• Pass a criminal background check.
